They’re ideal for solo retreats, couples, or friends who crave something real and grounded.

Where is the closest town?

Florence is 18 miles away, there are restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores. Another nearby town is Kearny, which is 22 miles away.

What should I bring?

Drinks, Food, Water, Flashlight, Lighter, Weather appropriate clothes, Hiking shoes, Sunscreen, sleeping bags & bedding for additional visitors if necessary and anything else you need to make your experience at The Boulders perfection!

How Do They Work?

Each villa runs completely off-grid—no power lines, no city water. Here’s how:

Power:

• Solar-powered with battery storage

• Quiet, clean, and eco-friendly electricity

Water:

• Drawn from a natural well right here on the land

• Stored in tanks and used through a simple gravity-fed plumbing system

Comfort:

• Built to breathe with passive airflow and shade

• Optional propane heating available in cooler months

What kinds of wildlife might I see?

At the Boulders, we have a range of wildlife including Quail, javelina, snakes, birds, chipmunks, lizards, desert tortoises, Gila monsters, cows, horses. There is no hunting or shooting allowed on the property.
